Unfortunately, the Start-Up Competition 2023 will not take place. Therefore, the information below does not hold anymore. We hope it is possible again to organise this event next year. 

On the 9th of February, the Start-Up Competition will take place. All students from the FSE and TeMa can join! The competition is based around a patent provided by the University of Groningen and owned by the FSE. Students are given the opportunity to work on creating a product design, marketing strategy, and business plans for this patent. There will also be a pitch workshop and a talk from a speaker who works at a start-up. Every team will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and the winning group will receive €400,-. The event will take place in the Energy Academy at Zernike from 16.45 until 22.30, dinner, coffee, and tea are included. Participation is free.

From the 17th of January, you can sign up for the Start-Up Competition! You can choose to sign up individually, in a pair, or as a group (a group consists of 4 or 5 people). The registrations will close on the 30th of January, so sign up before then!
If you sign up individually, we will form a group for you. To sign up as a group, all group members have to register individually on the website. You have to make an account on the website before you can sign up for the event. You can add the names of your group members with your enrollment.
